Within the scope of the Antalya 5th Phase (Konyaaltı-Lara and Kundu Connection) Rail System Transportation and Feasibility Study with Preliminary/Conceptual Project Preparation, a geotechnical report was prepared to support the construction of the project route and the associated structures along the route.
A total of 22 boreholes, each with a depth of 600 meters, were drilled along the metro line. The data obtained from laboratory tests on these boreholes, combined with geological information compiled from literature studies, were evaluated to determine the necessary support systems.
The prepared Geotechnical Report includes analyses for the stability, bearing capacity, settlement, swelling, and liquefaction problems of embankments, cut sections, stations, underpasses, buildings, and depot areas to be constructed between Km: -0+540 and Km: 22+786. Recommendations for necessary ground improvements were also provided. Additionally, the report includes detailed analyses and evaluations of the tunnels, cut-and-cover structures, and shafts along the route.
